StreetDrill's map of Richardson is built from public data. Here's every source, with a link to each one, and what the map doesn't cover yet.

Not a City or fire department app

StreetDrill is an independent study aid made by Hantis USA, LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the City of Richardson, Richardson Fire Department or any other agency. Map data can be incomplete or out of date: your department's maps, CAD and SOGs always come first.

City of Richardson open data

Stations and target hazards

The six fire stations and their apparatus come from City GIS address points and the Richardson Fire Department's public station list. The 82 target hazards are a researched list of places drivers can't afford to hunt for: hospitals, schools, senior living, apartment complexes, universities, government buildings, transit and large businesses, each with its address and first-due station.

How routes are built

Routes run on the street network with travel times by road class, turn costs (lefts cost more than rights), one-way rules, traffic signals, and U-turns only where the road allows them. They're a study model, not a dispatch router: they don't know about closures, traffic or your department's preferred routes.
